Glennpeter Jewelers is a family-owned Capital Region business founded in 1950 by Nate Weiss. Glennpeter is still in the family, owned and operated by Jeff Weiss, Nate’s son, and his partner David Blackmore.

At our Central Avenue flagship location, we host frequent civic functions among local charities, schools, non-profits and organizations like Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Donna Crandall Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, among others. Our events include ticket giveaways such as for Schenectady’s Proctors Theater, and wine tastings. A recent event featured Sorelle Gallery and Christopher Limousine, which made charitable donations to Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

Glennpeter also hosts birthday parties for girls of all ages to introduce them to the world of jewelry and enjoy a unique jewelry designing experience. The birthday girl is given the opportunity to wear an authentic Hearts on Fire “diamond tiara” worth over $33,000, and go on a tour of the Diamond Centre with all of her guests.
